BELOW WAS THE MESSAGE FROM THE TEXAS CHAIRMAN AT THIS YEAR'S CAMP-MEETING!
On behalf of the Dallas Fort Worth Organizing Committee for the 6th UGAMAA Camp meeting I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to this year’s camp meeting.
Many things have happened since the last time we were together during the 5th camp meeting in California, in July 2007. Regardless of both the sorrowful and glorious things that have happened amongst us, we are so thankful to God who has enabled us to gather again for this divine moment. Life is full of challenges and uncertainties, but we have to stay focused and hopeful that “the best is yet to come”. This year’s theme reminds us of God’s assurance that indeed the best is yet to come.
Under such assurance from the Lord, may we use this moment of fellowship and listening to the word of God to be revived, encouraged and blessed in all ways possible. By so doing this will be time well spent and we shall leave to go back to our homes with hope and continued trust in God who never tires to surprise us.
During this busy weekend, I pray that all of us will find time to interact with one another and also to get a chance to get acquainted with the many wonderful things in the DFW Metroplex. Find time to explore the uniqueness of the State of Texas by sampling with Dallas – Fort Worth.
Again, I welcome all the participants to Texas and pray that will be time well spent for all of us.
