Dear UGAMAA members and friends,

I take this opportunity to thank you all for putting your confidence and trust in me when you voted to re-elect me President of UGAMAA. You also re-elected men and women in other offices of the executive branch and together the Lord is using us to move the association in the right direction. Please take a moment and visit our web site at www.ugamaa.org for more information on the leadership of UGAMAA.

Welcome back from an exciting year of elections here in the USA. Despite the harsh economic situation we are experiencing, I thank God for keeping an upper hand on all of us and I am confident that He will see us through it all. Let us all join together and pray for the economic situation in the USA and the entire world to get better. I extend my plea to all of you who know someone in need to extend a hand as much as you possibly can, for this is one of the reasons of UGAMAA’s being.

UGAMAA has gradually progressed, today it is registered on the Federal level as a non profit organization thus bringing a chain of benefits and opportunities to registered members and the community at large. A bank account (in the name of UGAMAA) has been opened with Bank Of America (ONLY), since it has branches spread all over the country it will be convenient for many of our members and other donors to deposit dues and donations by walking/driving to the nearest branch. A PAYPAL ICON has been added to our website to make it easy for those who are into the online technology and to all our friends abroad who can not access Bank of America when need arise. We also initiated a session of prayer every Saturday evening on our conference call to support each other spiritually. Times set are 6:30pm PST or 9:30pm EST, call number 1-218-486-1300 bridge 678448. We have had academic and professional achievements, (Dr. Israel Kafeero and others), who I congratulate very much; new gifts of life have been added into our families; life accomplishments and we have realized many answered prayers. May all glory be to God.

Having said all that, there have been several moments of sorrow including deaths of close family members here in the USA and back home in Uganda., my heartfelt condolences go out to all individuals fitting this category. May God comfort and strengthen you as you go through this difficult moment, remembering that in the new Kingdom as promised in Revelation 21:4 “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” [NIV]

As we prepare to travel to Chicago for the 7th Annual camp meeting let each individual take a moment to search their soul, reach out to others and share the blessings you have received. Given today’s economic situation and the uncertainty of the world we now live in, let us be faithful and pray for God to carry us through it all. God has promised in 2 Chronicles 7:14; If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land .”[NIV]

May God bless you all and please feel free to contact me, any member of the executive branch, or your area representative for questions, concerns or words of wisdom on the progress of UGAMAA.

Welcome to Chicago!

Yours in service
